Lovely legs? I really dont like my legs normally, as they seem slightly bulky/fat. but when i wear heels they appear toned. what can i do to have them like that without wearing heels without getting really muscular. also while im talking about legs, how can i naturally tan my legs, i do try to use fake tan but it seems to "fake" iv also tried the moisturiser with a hint of fake tan and i find that works a lot better but when i have a bath or shower and shave my legs it all just comes of...i cant use hair removal cream as it irritates my skin and stings...i dont tan easily hence the fact im really pale. but is their any lotions or anything i can use to help get a natural tan. |

| i dont really like my legs either, but when the sun was out in the summer and i had my legs on show, i would always shave with a good shaving gel (gilette) and gillete shaver, exfoliate, then apply a golden shimmer creme with a bronzant, and a drop of baby oil mixed in. this made my legs look soo great and made me feel really sexy. my legs are quite fair naturally x |
Why is that some people have massive bellies, and lovely legs? On holiday I noticed that some people have a massive belly, but nice legs sticking out the end? And because they have a lot of belly fat - they have big boobss! Why?! |
| It's just genetics. Everyone's body carries their fat differently. I have large boobs for my height and weight (5'4", 105lbs, 32D) - yet I have a flat stomach and okay legs. It all just depends how one carries their weight, there's not really an answer as to "why." It just is. |

| Waxing is wonderful, I won't shave anymore since I started waxing, it lasts 4 weeks sometimes longer and you only have redness for a short time after it is done. Your legs are much smoother. |
How do I get rid of my fat legs? All my life I've had legs that are on the big size - my calfs are quite muscular because I walk fast and I've got big ankles.
The rest of me though is slim, you can feel the bones in my hips!
Now, I must admit, I've never really done anything to sort them out. But I'm not keen on running because I just think this will give me more muscle. I want them toned and slim more than athletic really - although Jeniffer Garner's got lovely legs!
Any ideas? I've got weights, a fitness ball and going to get some yoga stuff too... |
| I suffer the same, genetics are a buggar! I'm afraid to say that running is the best way forward. It will tone, not build muscle. How about finding shoes and clothes that make you feel more confident. I doubt anyone else notices your hang up on your legs. Try to relax about it. |
I have a pair of lovely knee length leather boots which were made especially to fit my skinny legs.? They do have 2 elastic dart panels in the top. I can zip them up fine and stick my fingers down the boots when on. But my friend said wearing tight boots can damage your legs. I thought mine was fine but I'm worried now. |
| If you can slip two fingers into the boot while it's zipped, then the boot is loose enough not to cause problems. |
How can I get lean legs without adding huge muscles? The front of my legs (quads?) are huge!!...I want to tone and shape my back and inner thigh into lean, lovely legs but without including the quads....any advice? |
I know of a plan that has been used over and over again that works. This will help you to tone with adding bulk.
1. CARDIO program (Walk or Jog for at a minimum 45mins) Jump Rope and/or jumping jacks
2. Crunches, side twist
# Leg Kickback 2 sets, 15 reps each leg, (Get on all four and you lift your leg back towards the sky)
# Squats 2 sets, 15 reps,
# Jane Fonda 2 sets, 15 reps, each side
# Leg Curl 2 sets, 15 reps,
# Lunges 3 sets, 20 reps
# Leg lifts 3 sets, 12 reps, (Lay on your back and lift your legs 10in to 45degrees to 90 degrees |
